Privacy & Citizen Safety Architecture

Privacy & Safety

How AmarElaka is engineered with privacy-by-design to protect citizen anonymity while delivering transparent civic accountability.

Anonymous by Design (No Public Identity)

Citizen safety is our highest priority. To report an infrastructural issue or confirm a problem, you do not need to create a public profile or expose your real name.

The platform never publicly displays your phone number, email address, full name, or IP address anywhere on the website.

Cryptographic Salt & Anti-Spam Security

To prevent malicious bots and duplicate votes while protecting your privacy, we generate one-way salted cryptographic hashes that rotate periodically.

These hashes are mathematically irreversible, meaning no one—including our staff—can reverse-engineer your real-world identity from stored records.

EXIF Metadata & Media Scrubbing

Smartphone photos often contain hidden EXIF metadata, such as camera model, serial number, and exact timestamp. Our storage pipeline scrubs this private metadata before publishing.

Only the clean visual evidence is stored on secure cloud storage, ensuring no hidden personal footprints remain.

Private Residential Location Protection

For issues occurring within residential neighborhoods, we emphasize road and intersection landmarks rather than private house numbers.

AmarElaka is strictly for public infrastructure. Private indoor disputes or household properties are not hosted.

Data Retention & Zero-Tracking Policy

We do not sell user data, utilize intrusive third-party ad trackers, or build commercial behavioral advertising profiles.

All database records are securely stored with encryption at rest, maintained solely for public civic tracking and community improvement.
